EASTERN UNIVERSITY DUAL ENROLLMENT SCHOOL
Science and Discovery High School is a grade 9th, 10th and 11th grade program. The school offers rigorous core courses in mathematics, sciences, social studies, and English. Unique features of the school are its partnership with EasternUniversity. Selected students enrolled in Science and DiscoveryHigh School will earn college credits during their high school years. Starting in 2009, students will receive instruction from a college professor from EasternUniversity on the school’s campus. The course offerings are Earth Keeping and Chemistry. Students will earn 3 credits a semester and 12 transferable credits by their senior year from an accredited college. In addition, students will receive extra help through tutoring during and after school using computer assisted programs such as Achieve 3000 (reading) and Apangea (mathematics). Extracurricular programs include: general music, football, basketball, volley ball, cheerleading, baseball, tennis, track and after school club activities.
